Be in the National Independence Day Parade in DC!
Vietnamese-Americans Celebrating Freedom needs volunteers! A project of the Vietamese Community of Metropolitan DC, we are participating in America's Independance Day Parade again for the 17th consecutive year. The parade takes place on July 4th in downtown DC and is watched by over 400,000 people every year! We're proud to be one of the 75 groups chosen to participate nationally.
We're looking for volunteers of all ages to dance (no experience neccessary, we teach you), hold banners, work "backstage" and logistics. Some practices are required depending on your role. Please come out and represent the Vietnamese Community in this national celebration of freedom!
