JULY 4th!!Come Camp Out on the Mall
Every year it's a blast, just camping out on the Mall from noon to night. Here in Washington, it's extra special because it's an all day affair to remember. There are lots of activities going on...from outdoor concerts, arts and crafts fairs, visiting museums, kite flying, frisbee, volleyball, to just lounging on the grass playing cards and waiting for the fireworks display over the DC skies.
Bring your picnic baskets, coolers, lawn chairs/mats and come join in the festivities and a DC tradition. Don't forget the sunscreen, bug repellent, handiwipes, cameras. Pack lots of food and drinks to last you all day. I usually stake out near the base of the Monument. Likely to be security checkpoints in. They check back packs, coolers, purses, etc.
You can take Metro (Federal Triangle or Smithsonian closest stops, buy round-trip ticket to avoid congestion at night) or Carpool. Sign Up Now to Meet There! Feel free to give me a call 703.798.7368 as well.
