Vietnamese martial arts
I recently started practicing kungfu at the Spirit Mountain Martial Arts school. The instruction is free, but you will need to buy a uniform and pay a biannual testing fee. You do not have to sign contracts like most other schools. It's a great workout. They also teach Tai Chi, which is less physically demanding.
Classes in VA are on Sundays from 12pm - 4pm (12 - 1:30 for kids, and 1:30pm-4pm for adults) and are held at:
Willston Multi-Cultural Center
6131 Willston Drive
Falls Church, Virginia
For a history of this martial art, go to their webiste and click on the martial arts link:

Stop by and check it out for yourself. Maybe I'll see you there. If you have any martial arts experience, I'd be interested in hearing about it. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
