Hi Everyone,
I want to create a wine and beer tasting group for those who are interested in checking out some great local wine and beer bars in the DC area.
If you are interested, please let me know so that we can begin planning our first event!

Awesome turnout for our latest Wine and Beer Lovers Group event at Best Cellars in Arlington. We had over 25 new and familiar faces meet for the wine tasting that was hosted by their knowledgeable staff. We tasted 6 wines from around the world accompanied by light snacks. Afterwards, we had dinner at nearby Cafe Asia. Thanks to everyone who came out and to Lou for organizing.
Wine Tasting at Best Cellars

Greetings fellow beer and wine lovers! After a 6 month hiatus, we are due for another event. The next event will be at Best Cellars in Arlington, which is a retail wine store specializing in private-label wines at affordable prices. Best Cellars will provide themed tastings (i.e. Flight of Europe, Old World vs. New World) at no charge, and appetizers will be provided at a small cost to each attendant. After the tasting, we can head over to Cafe Asia for a late dinner

Thanks to everyone who came out on a Friday night to enjoy a glass (or a few glasses) of wine with us. Each member brought a bottle of their favorite wine to share with everyone. Special thanks to Liz for organizing and bringing food and to Lou for allowing us to party at his nice condo.

The Wine Lovers group will have its second wine event at the end of February. We decided to mix it up this time and have the party at home for a cozier atmosphere. Please bring your favorite bottle for everyone to sample. Light appetizers and cheeses will be served. We will play fun 80's music to pair with delicious wine. The place can accomodate about 15 guests, so please sign up fast! Hope to see you all soon...cheers!
First Wine Event -- Tallulah Jan. 24th (6-9pm)
The Viet Professionals Wine Group will host its first event at Tallulah Restaraunt in Arlington, VA on Jan. 24th from 6 -9pm. This will be an informal event -- mostly for all of us to meet, drink wine, and discuss ideas for future events. We will all meet in the back bar area.
